Group component malfunctioning in Rhino 6

the group component does not group objects into single group. it creates individual groups with 1 object each, which doesn’t really do anything useful.

this component has worked properly in Rhino 5. i’m here to confirm that it’s malfunctioning or to see if i’m doing something wrong.

That looks like the group parameter, not the group component.
