Grasshopper Loading Error/ Missing Component Tabs

I get this error massage every time I load grasshopper. It’ll force quit Rhino when I hit “try again right now”. and the same error would show up again next time even if I hit “never try again”.

And once it’s loaded after hitting “never try again”. My ribbon is missing all the components tabs and buttons, despite they can be searched and used finding from double clicking the canvas.

The issue persist even I have Rhino reinstalled. I suspect I might have accidentally deleted the wrong “GhPython.gha” from the component folder previously.

Need technical support/ or instruction about reinstalling grasshopper itself please. Thank you in advance.

There is a way to troubleshoot a GH plugin conflict is to start GH from the Rhino command line with command GrasshopperLoadOneByOne and say No to all third part GH plugins.

I just tried as your advise. Most of the components are missing still. What could I do. That’s no way to uninstall and reinstall GH entirely?

It seems you didn’t Say No to all third-party GH plugins, as some third-party plugins can still be loading in your screenshot.

Umm… Nope. I did exactly as you advised. Ran [GrasshopperLoadOneByOne] and hit No for all options. The screenshot is what I get eventually. Most of the Grasshopper nature components are disappeared despite all that…

You only need to Say No to all third-part plugins, for GH built-in plugins, you need to Say Yes. The list of GH built-in plugins can be found here,
C:\Program Files\Rhino 8\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Components

Thanks Jessesn. It works, but does that mean I’ll have to do the same every time I try to load GH? How about the plugin that I’ll actually want to use. It’d be the most ideal to have a long term solution. Very much appreciate your help and prompt responses.

You need to say Yes to each 3rd plugin one by one to identify whcih one is causing your current error.

Would you recommend to remove all the plugins from the library, and only keep the GH native components? I don’t mind to reinstall the plugins. It all started when I accidentally deleted this file.

You should keep all built-in plugins of Grasshopper.
