I’d like to ask, I’m trying to facet the two blue curves, but I can’t get my data structure adjusted correctly, I’ve tried to reorder the two sets of lines, but I don’t know what’s wrong and it hasn’t been working, can anyone help me look at this?
Hi, I’ve reorganized my logic a bit and my logic is:
first generate the grid lines to generate the plane with the normals of each grid point;
generate moving points centered on the grid vertices in the direction of each grid line, in order for the points to be in the plane, so project the points on the lines onto the plane, in preparation for generating the green part of the structure later on.
With the green part of the reference point after the green part of the modeling, I divided the green part of the arc and the middle of the two vertical lines and the outermost rectangle of three parts of the three parts of the three parts of the green part of the silhouette of the crop and merge, and finally extruded in two directions;
Finally, I choose the bottom of the green part and the circle outside to form a surface, but no matter how I sort, the two parts are not in the right order, so I can’t form a surface.
This is my logic, maybe my method is a bit cumbersome, but this is the method I can think of at the moment, very much looking forward to you can help me answer, thank you very much!!! Joint.gh (73.5 KB)
Your method is so succinct, I feel fast applying your method on mine, it helps me a lot in my experimentation, thank you very much.
However, I found that I couldn’t generate some of the faces according to your logic, but the parts of the nodes were fine; I tried to continue to form the two parts into a surface, and the result was still unsatisfactory, as shown below. Looking forward to your answer. Joint Edited V1.gh (54.4 KB)
