Same problem. New install of Rhino WIP. Fired up Grasshopper. Can drag components from menu but double click + search does nothing when the searched component is clicked. There are exceptions, works fine for instance if I start typing a number (number slider).

This looks specific to Tahoe MacOS. Hitting Enter will place the component, the mouse click does not.

It’s still on the list for the release of Rhino 9.
There are a lot more pressing issues on Curtis’ list before that.
