Grasshopper Color Picker is Broken

In Grasshopper, when using the color picker, double-click and numeric data entry is now broken. When you double-click, it briefly shows the value and immediately returns.

Environment:

• MacOS Sonoma 14.5
• Rhino Version 8 (8.9.24177.13002, 2024-06-25)

Hi Ed,

We haven’t been able to repeat this on a few different machines and Mac OS versions.

Are you running 3rd party plugins?

We should start troubleshooting by disabling these via the Rhino 8>Settings>Plugins

If the issue persists with those disabled we should look at grasshopperplugins next (via starting LoadGrasshopperOneByOne)

And using LoadGrasshopperOneByOne and selecting ‘NO’ for all:

I still get the exact same behavior. How odd… SystemInfo attached for reference.

Thanks for the troubleshooting efforts. This appears to be related to some recent Apple changes and will be rectified soon. Here is a youtrack RH-81454 on the issue.
