Gradient / Transparent Hatch Not working

Hi, I am trying to use the transparent hatch feature in rhino7. I have set this hatch to ‘Linear Reflected’ and set one side to a white [to mimic the paper], and the other to 100% transparent to achieve a gradient over my documentation behind the hatch.

It looks like this in my layout page:

But then it looks like this when I export it to Print PDF:

When printed, it reverts back to a full solid White hatch.

How can I fix this?

That’s a known issue; I’ve added this thread to RH-54857 Transparency not working in vector output
Exporting as raster instead of vector will preserve the transparent gradient.
