Gradient transparency in gh won't show properly

I’ve notice a weird behaviour in the visualization of gradients in rhino and grasshopper.

  1. The first is the way gradient is displayed in rhino. You can see how transparency allows to see what’s behind the face is applied.
  2. The second on the right is how gh display the gradient. Transparency clearly does not work as it should. although if i orbit around, some faces display properly, most of then show like this.

I’ve notice that this also happens when a hatch is selected in rhino.

Hi Johan -

Thanks, I’ve put this on the list as RH-84966 Display: Gradient Hatches Transparency Issue
-wim

I think the issue is somehow directly connected to this topic, as you can CTRL+X CTRL+V stuff to change the order in which previews are visualized on screen:

[in the video I’m doing CTRL+X CTRL+V each time on a different preview component]
