Gradient by diameter

Hey guys,

I’m trying to make a diameter specification of a multipipe with a variable thickness. I thought of making another surface and coloring it according to the diameter in a gradient. But it’s not working out very well. Has anyone ever done something like this? Or do you have any ideas?

Thanks for the help

I create an Userobject. It can add gradient color to a mesh from naked edges.
Naked edges are at the eyes.
