Hi,
Is there any way one can enter terms such as select planar surface and have commands suggested that feature those three words in their ‘key words’ listed for the command.
Some kind of database, Glossary list, whatever.
As simple as an excel spreadsheet or even notepad, each command is followed by a string of words. Mcneel could surely have something that saves trying to find a command.
I come across this need yet again as I need to show all planar surfaces not part of a solid.
Having used such to extrude solids, I need to see just where they are, as I had hoped to have placed them on a separate layer but some escaped.
Yes I understand that’s the hard thing about using computers everything is named and how can one remember all that or know the endless names of things? On this Rhino doesn’t offer more help outside of intelisense and helpfiles. You can parse the Rhino help files or try Ai as well. Perhaps it could become a feature for future Rhinos.
Tween is a proper name for that command as it is derived from the animation industry before computing where the inbetweener was hired to draw the in between drawings from one key pose to another key pose. The animator did the all key pose drawings and the inbetweener did the rest of the drawings. It’s creating the pose between the key poses and derived both from the key pose prior to the in between pose and the post key pose.

Google is your friend here. A search for rhino3d create curves between curves will bring you TweenCurves and - bonus - a technique using loft which you can use if you are unhappy with the tweened result.
