When the Grasshopper window is on a second screen, there are a lot of display issues. I suspect some are occurring because the two screens have different display resolutions (4K vs HD).
-
Hovering over a component or a tab in the main menu panels usually gives a tooltip with the component name and description, many of these don’t display.
-
Same with the modifiers in the right-click menu on the components (flatten, graft, etc…)
[not a bug but I’d reiterate another poster that I miss the simplicity and cleanness of the old right-click menu. At least the circle icons could stand on their own rather than inside rectangular button icons. Maybe also some text fields don’t need a label–‘Name’ or ‘expression’ can stand alone without ‘Object’ or ‘Expression’ alongside them.] -
The foldout panel when clicking on a panel name appears far to the left and below the menu. When GH2 canvas is full-screen, this puts them off screen
-
Right-drag panning around the canvas frequently repositions the cursor to the far side of the screen after releasing
-
The previewed wire lead when dragging from an component in/output node is very, very large and doesn’t follow the cursor
-
Lasso selection on the canvas also doesn’t follow the cursor position
-
Not exactly a bug, but an annoyance: when setting values, like the Number param via Set One, Set Many… the new pop-up window always opens in the middle of the primary screen (and sounds an error chime if you click anywhere outside it). In GH1 the cascade menu was a more efficient entry, but even the Manage Collection window appeared at the location of the component.
(Note: this is all on today’s version; also Windows 11)
