Gg Etabs bake taking too long to load

Hi,

Why geometry gym takes too long to open Etabs and still keeps on loading eternity?
Have you faced any problems like this? please help to resolve this issue

Do you have a sample script? If there are thousands of data to transfer, then it will take a long time to execute all the API calls.
If you can share a script, and indicate how long it takes for you, I can review it.

Do you have any example file that I could test on? because mine is complex to internalise too
Any simple model to export from rhino to etabs using gg will do

Try these. Etabs Examples - Geometry Gym

You can share the script (and any 3dm) privately via email. I will only use it for the purpose of helping you or improving the plugin.

There is an alternative of importing a text file (.e2k) but I haven’t implemented many aspects of it yet.

I tried these but I could not find specific script which can send model to Etabs.

Does ggEtabs bake model is to activate Etabs alone? which component is used to export these

There are some sample tower scripts at the bottom. Many of these will use the legacy ggBake component (double click) or add a new Bake component and click on the bake button.
