Getting Rhinoceros Graphics Driver Crashed popup when I start up Rhino, recently started happening when using remote desktop. It seems to be causing Rhino to crash quite often when orbiting around the model.
If you follow those instructions, what do you learn?
Nothing seems to be obviously wrong, or any recommendations for a better configuration, when I go into the System Information and everything says status “OK”. Is there anything I should be looking for specifically?
Please post the SystemInfo so I can have a look.
Thanks
Apparently you are using different email addresses for the Forum and for your license Registration and Validation.
That can be a confusing mess to manage two separate identities.
It’s because I’m using a remote machine, the laptop I’m using is logged in on an old account I had.
Okay, that makes sense with the accounts confusion.
“SystemInfo” is a command in Rhino V6 and V7.
Ahh apologies

I am getting the same error message at startup. I have tried looking at other forums for responses to this message but haven’t found anything other than updating graphic cards. Once I click “OK” I am still able to get into rhino and even render using the rhino render, but I can’t ViewCapturetoFile succesfully (it saves a black screen).
I just got a new work windows desktop computer today and have been having this issue with both rhino 6 and 7 installed. I remote in from a laptop also with windows and through a vpn. I have tried updating the graphics cards but both are 2020 versions and supposedly up to date.
Here is my system info:

Those drivers are NOT up to date. Windows itself also needs to be kept updated.
Hi i’m using Rhino7 and Rhino5 in Windows 10 (brand new laptop) and having the same issue:
i got the dialog box saing “Rhinoceros Graphic Driver Crashed” and suggesting to read the SystemInfo

Anyone knows how to fix this problem? Seems that unistalling and re-installing doesn’t work.
Thanks!
Well it seems that your driver isn’t very old but all those “nulls” and “n/as” indicate Rhino has no idea what video card you actually have…that’s not good. Maximum viewport size of 256 X 16843008? What is it?
Is Windows up to date? Try looking up the steps to THOROUGHLY uninstall your video driver before updating it?
Also, is your monitor connected through some kind of USB hub? They often have some kind of junky built-in “GPU” that’s absolutely not going to work.
@Samuele_Angeletti also reported the same problem at Rhinoceros Graphic Driver Crashed
