GeometryGym - Making Custom Profile for GSA

Hi All, I’m trying to make a custom profile using the ggGSACreateSectionProp component but the profile isn’t showing along line segments which I assigned the profile to.

I’ve made the profile on an XY plane.

Hi Elysia,

Thanks for the email. A quick review of your images, it looks like you are using a component from the newer “official” GSA plugin for grasshopper, and then wiring that into a GG component. If there is some way to achieve compatibility, I will consider it, but for the time being mix and match is likely to fail in many circumstances. You can identify GG components with the gg prefix on the component name.

I’ve attached a test script that shows how the GG plugin computest this.

Thanks for the reply! I see, I got confused with the other GSA component when it worked.

Anyways, it is working now! I just linked it directly to the ggGSACreateSectionProp component.
