Geometry definition changed after upgraded to Rhino 6

I have a geometry setting definition developed by using Rhino 5. After upgraded to Rhino 6, my definition is changed because Rhino 6 changed the base plane input (pic 1 and 2, input of X is reversed while nothing is changed). May I ask what is the reason for this and how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

The definition: Sample (Geometry).gh (472.6 KB)

Was the rectangle read as data from a file, or was it created through logic. Either way, can you isolate that problem and upload the file?

Thanks @DavidRutten. I have just uploaded the simplified file.

Here’s a really simplified file showing the problem (I think). You’re saying that on Rhino5 (sorry, don’t have R5 installed here any more) the plane was positioned in the lower left corner of the surface rather than the lower right? Surface To Plane.gh (9.7 KB)

FWIW, Rhino 5:

Thanks for testing @wim

I logged this under RH-51386, but I’m probably not going to change it for R6. Technically the result is still correct, and you should not use an underconstrained method like the automatic conversion from surface to plane if you genuinely care about the orientation of the result.
