I know this is probably a minor issue compared to others, but would it be possible to have a full dark mode Grasshopper in Windows like the macOS version?
This is what my Mac setup looks like. Much more pleasing for the eyes…
Bumping this issue
maybe on Rhino v9?

Excuse me, Why exists a grasshopper dark theme for MAC but no for Win?
Windows community is a such bigger than mac, I think or not?
We are only talking about the upper border, everything else is the same ![]()
but even for the canvas is needed a plug-in, whatever I dont think some people change to mac just for the dark mode.
I don’t think this is a GH Mac feature, but simply a difference of the underlying framework Cocoa and WPF. You could even argue that is a bug, if it behaves differently. However these plugins you are speaking of alter the default behavior of the GUI, and therefore modifying GH in a way developers did never intended it to be. So technically its a bug of them. GH1 is actually older than entire dark mode hype. And by all the problems to be solved , this is probably the one with lowest priority, imho.
We been doing some changes on this area for v9.
It will be available on the tomorrows release, please test it.
love it. Thank you will check it out tomorrow
The canvas area of GH1 fails to turn black, while GH2’s canvas displays a black background, yet its menu bar and functional ribbon remain light-colored. It would be ideal if the dark modes of GH1 and GH2 could be integrated. We hope future updates will apply dark mode to all interface regions for both GH1 and GH2. Additionally, the current shades used in dark mode are not dark enough.
