Hey all… So new to Rhino/Grasshopper user here, so feel free to correct me!
Every single tutorial that I have watched for Grasshopper in Rhino 8 Shows a dark theme that doesn’t melt your eyeballs but… that like… doesn’t exist? No plugin, no add-on, no scripts on forums, nothing supported in the local GUI. There is even a YouTube channel that shows a literal button in the GH 2.0 interface that says “dark mode” lol. What am I missing here I feel like I am going crazy!
So If I am understanding this correctly… Rhino 8 doesn’t come natively with Grasshopper 2? I like just downloaded it a few days ago. Sorry, Solidworks guy here, very new to these programs.
If you want full functionality and plugins, use GH1
No, GH2 is in alpha stage of development. There is an early version available on the Rhino 8 package manager, but to see what’s new you’ll need to be in the WIP.
As Martin suggests, GH1 is what you will want to use for production work.

Gotcha, thank you. Sounds like I am stuck with the eyeball melting theme then lol. I rear a forum about changing the XML for the theme but it didn’t load my changes and TBH I don’t care enough to figure out why.
