if you aren’t using the SR7 release candidate, I would start there. There have been a couple bug fixes made in SR7 that address crashes in Grasshopper.
Also, if you are crashing frequently with a specific Grasshopper definition we would like to see it to try and repeat the crash ourselves. If we can repeat a crash, we can usually get it fixed pretty quick.
I’m using the latest service release And Rhino just crashed again. As mentioned above, there was no option to send a crash report and the crash dump file is empty.
I have also been experiencing crashes while running Grasshopper on Rhio 6. Every time I type in the grasshopper command and run the program, it will get to 55% and then crash

I don’t know if an update for VRay exists that addresses this, but until then you could rename the extension .gha file for VRay to something like .ghadontload. And probably a good idea to report this to the developer Chaos Group.
