Floating parameter Pt failed to collect data

It’s my first experiment with GH and Rhino and the Archicad connection and I have a problem right at the start.

I’ve followed a Youtube Tutorial which indicates that I can create a point parameter/container, and link the output to an Archicad mesh function and generate a mesh in Archicad.

Sounds easy enough but I keep failing at the first hurdle.

In the screenshot you can see that the Rhino status line is telling me that 529 points are selected, but the GH panel is telling me that the parameter failed to collect the data.

I started with an imported dwg consisting of grouped meshes. I ungrouped them joined them and then used extractpt to create points at the vertices, and selected a group of points.

I’m using Rhino 8 Build 1.0.0008 with Archicad 28 Technical Preview on Mac.

Clearly I’m doing something wrong - but what?

try right clicking on the GH Point parameter and chose “Set Multiple Points”, in such a way to tell GH to reference those points from Rhino
