Hi Benjamin - try this as a test- set up your toolbars as you like them and then in OPtions > Toolbar page, SaveAs to some new (not “default”) name on the desktop. Close and reopen Rhino… any good?
Hi Benjamin - I would expect it to work in the location you list - it shoyld work in any writable folder… Unless possibly you are running Rhino from a different log-in (Like as adminstrator) than your normal log-in…
my customised toolbars are gone again. Its not possible to save the toolbar settings. After saving / closing and reopening my customised toolbars are gone and I have to reselect them all again.
hi @Benjamin_Schnei debugging this from a distance will be hard and I am unsure if I understand exactly what is going on at your end. Can you post a screenshot of the way you have set up your workspace, before and after reopening? Pls also run _SystemInfo and post back the results.

No, there haven’t been any recent changes to Rhino 7 in this area.
This issue coming and going is one of the reasons this part of Rhino was completely rewritten for version 8.
