Finer control of mesh

I have a 1.5" x 4" surface and an interior surface is 0.5"x3" (mating an equivalent hole in the larger surface) that I am trying to mesh both in 0.050" quads. I’ve played around with this for a while, but I cannot get the mesh to be only squares even though 0.050 goes into all surface measurements exactly (I get triangles in the larger surface.)

Meshing the larger surface, with the square hole, alone also creates the unwanted triangles.

Can anyone suggest what I might try to get rid of the triangles in this mesh?

Thanks!
Best regards,
Bruce

SOLVED:

Lots of permutations in meshing are possible … more than just a couple hours of experimenting.

In this case for all equal sides, just set BOTH the minimum and maximum edge lengths to 0.050" and voila … no triangles as their sides are less than 50 thou. That should have clicked home sooner.
