Feature request: Flow along a polysurface

Just learned about this plug-in that could spread a pattern along a bunch of polysurfaces (most likely only as a mesh algorithm). Rhino’s ! _FlowAlongSrf command is limited to only a single surface. Is there a chance for Rhino 9 to be able to expand that functionality to polysurfaces, too? with NURBS geometry, of course.

Obviously, that will be a challenge, given the different coordinates for the individual surfaces that joined together form a polysurface (like car fenders etc). Maybe flow along polysurfaces is possible, if it’s based on normal projection from a single “starting surface” loosely wrapped around the target polysurface?

P.S. Considering the price of their plug-in, not sure why they use Rhino 7 Corporate…

Could this work in your situation?

I use that approach for many years, but it’s quite limiting. My request is regarding a more advanced ! _FlowAlongSrf command capable to work with complex polysurfaces such as car fenders, bumpers, etc. to completely cover them by a pattern. Not just a nearly flat region of the polysurface. Example: Renault Trezor concept.
