Failed to save Rhino 8 file

Hi
Since the last update I can’t save files, either as “Save”, Save as”, “Incremental Save” or “Export Selected”.

Run the Rhino command SystemInfo and post the results.

Well not much clue there…

What are you saving to? Local or network drive? What sort of local drive? This sort of issue is not generally “Rhino’s fault,” it’s some Windows permissions issue or backup/sync software has locked the files…

@Japhy @Gijs Perhaps someone from McNeels could reply to @martin10.

My question as well, its typically either something with the cloud drive or a virus protections

Hi Guys.
Thanks for you help. You pointed me in the right diredtion.
It’s the windows virus protection for some reason is now blocking Rhino files from being saved.
All seems to working again.
Thanks for you help, again.

I hope you didn’t have to disable it entirely to get things to work?

No. Just the Rhino files.
I’ve been using Rhino for the last 15 years and never had this problem, but i did a windows update at a similar time to a rhino update, so wasn’t sure which i could be.
