Facade optimization with regular panels

i should create an algorithm that allows to minimize the number of panels of different shapes. each panel would be different in area and curvature.

I had an idea… The current method of projecting a grid of holes onto the facade makes all the panels (faces) unique, which increases the difficulty and cost of building it. The idea is that distance between each face and the attractor curve could determine a hole pattern, limiting the number of unique panels, making it easier and cheaper to construct.
