I had encounter this annoying issue of not being able to export correctly to Rhino 7 format. I mean. Rhino 8 always states that the export was done correctly to Rhino 7 format. but it is not readable in Rhino 7… Is this a bug? or something Thank you.
Hi Mutarq, there should normally be no reason to open the 3dmbak file. Make sure to open the 3dm file that was exported.

You are trying to open a V8 backup file… That is not the V7 file you exported…
This still doesnt work when opening a standard .3dm.
What exactly doesn’t work? What error message are you getting?
