Hi everyone,
I have planar mapped a single image onto a group of single curved surfaces and am interested in exporting each individual surface’s map as an image for print. Unroll works well with these surfaces, but it loses the map (it no longer matches the pre-unrolled surface), I could also make 2d and remap onto flat projection of surface with relative proximity, albeit imperfect. The most pressing question is: how do I export a mapped material as an image file trimmed to the shape of a surface? Below is an image of my project.
