@Andrea_Tellatin found the bug, it’s fixed in the upcoming release 1.17.2.
The following workaround should work for you:
- Open the Terminal app on MacOS
- Make sure you are in your home directory by typing
cd - Type
mkdir -p .local/share/and press Enter, which will create the directory if it doesn’t exist yet.
