We have found incompability issues due to .NET Core versions in the latest Rhino Service Release. Please revert to version 1.23 of the plugin (and uncheck “Automatically update packages when Rhino starts”) until we work with McNeel to solve the issue.
If your definition had at some point ShapeDiver components in it, from an old version of the plugin, this might explain why you are seeing the last error. When you have reverted to 1.23, you can use the top-level ShapeDiver menu and click on the “Document > Remove payload” option.
I will update this topic once the issue with version 1.24 is fixed.
The version 1.24.1 of the ShapeDiver plugin has been released to the package manager. It should fix the issues mentioned above, while including the latest features.
This might be due to a conflict with an old version of the plugin. Please check this article, in particular the yellow section: ShapeDiver plugin for Grasshopper
Could you let me know which version of Rhino and the ShapeDiver plugin you are working with? Ideally, if I could get a screenshot of the other third-party libraries installed with Rhino, it could also help. It looks like there could be a conflict with another installed plugin.
Error is back with latest SD version. I had to manually downgrade to previous version (1.28.1). This error is definitely related to the latest update of Shape Diver. My Rhino 8 is up to date.
