Error when using this command

When using this command “ToggleSelectionHighlight” I get this error message:

It is a genuine Rhino Version 8 Command to toggle the selection highlight on or off.

This should have been listed under Rhino for Windows (not Macintosh).

mcneel allegedly spent a lot of money on this autotagging feature, still not sure why, since i never really liked it either and i manually have to uncheck it at times which is only possible after you have posted the topic.

it appears that you were using a script before rather than a command, maybe the script does not work in v8 or maybe you have to position it in the same path as before? just guessing

ToggleSelectionHighlight is a rhinoscript script that has been shared here on the forum. We would need to debug that script to figure out what is happening.

I am not a sophisticated user… If I use the script attached or linked to the F1 key, or start typing in the command line the word “Toggle” to get a list of commands with the word “toggle” in them, the result is the same … the error above…

This is what the script looks like that is attached to the F1 key:

Sorry I wasn’t clear. ToggleSelectionHighlight is a script that you may have downloaded here on the forum and I don’t think was written by someone at McNeel. If you can post the script file (probably named ToggleSelectionHighlight.rvb) here, we might be able to figure out why it isn’t working.

I am quite sure Pascal was the person that helped me with this issue. I wanted not to see the selection highlight when I was building or moving certain things (to more clearly see what I was moving). however I cannot find that post? Where do I look for what you wish to see?

I just searched my computer and here it is:

ToggleSelectionHighlight.rvb (1.6 KB)

In the mean time, how do I disable this script or command so that I can see my selection highlight again? And thankyou!!
