Looks like Rhino was loading Enscape when the error occurred. If you disable Enscape does it still happen?

Facing the same problem.

I had the same issue - resolved by running the Microsoft .NET repair tool (google it and download from Microsoft) then repairing the rhino installation in windows.

  1. Windows Control Panel
  2. Add/Remove programs
  3. Select Rhino
  4. Click Change
  5. Click Repair

Requires restarting windows.
