Elliptical spiral (3D) with grasshopper

I was wondering if there is a way to generate a 3D spiral that has an elliptical shape in grasshopper? Can one alter the parametric definition of a spiral (archimedean spiral with constant separation distance) so that the spiral would not be circular but elliptical?

I am thankful for any hints.
