Hello everybody

I am trying to replicate this model. Tome its very clear that there are two circles, a straight one at the center, and a bigger circle whos center follows a helicode trayectory upwards around the center of the first one.

I managed to somewhat recreate the zig zag pattern but I havent been succesful making the outer circle move how I want. Ill upload how I am trying to recreate the pattern.

Im not sure what my approach shuold be really, because I wonder that if I manage to make the outer circle to behave how I want then the pattern will be somewhat wavy and not like the product I want to imitate.

This again. We should just have category for all threads pertaining to ribbed parametric “lamps” or “vases”.

The Starmaker cluster lets you use multi-pointed star shapes instead of circles & ellipses. Before changing the GraphMapper or Genepool I suggest locking the Solver, otherwise there’s a long wait while GH calculates the intermediate values for everything. Actually that’s probably a good idea when you tweak anything.
