thanks scott

I keep waiting for your youtube channel with build videos…

stunning work as always.

After this project is a good idea actually I’ll open a YouTube channel and try record a tutorial sample or something never done those before tho any screen recording software you can recommend? I think I have this Nvidia app but nothing to edit with

Would a time lapse be interesting? Best i could do on heating irons was from 4 days to 9 hours the second time

Can you take a look at one of my models and give feedback maybe? I use Rhino as a free form modeler if that makes sense so I don’t put much emphasis on rules that exist out there, sure sometimes I look at zebra stripes or naked edges etc.. but not so much. I can send some models private if you want.

If it looks good in shade/ render it’s good enough for me

Just keep coming with ideas I’m bored over here and the job market sucks anyways Rhino entertains me everyday for a couple hours😂

Take a look at Open Broadcaster Software - https://obsproject.com/

And edit it with DaVinci Resolve - DaVinci Resolve | Blackmagic Design

I will check them out thanks

+1 for OBS

I use premier for editing

you can do a series with each part handled in detail-

for the videos I do, I simply describe what I’m doing, the tools I’m using and any strategy concepts for what I’m trying to accomplish.

I do my videos live and that is a lot of pressure, but I find having an audience (and that pressure) I can interact with brings an added dimension to my videos that gets lost when I’m doing a “record and edit” style video.

I don’t recommend it for everyone, I would absolutely start with the record and edit style.

If it’s important to you, demo videos typically do well on youtube from a monetization stand point because the watch hours do well right off the bat. If you choose to allow ads, you’ll reach that threshold pretty quickly. Choosing to add in your own sponsors with in video advertising of your own production is a 2nd strategy for monetizing.

I do neither because thankfully Bob monetizes me directly with a salary.. and he hates ads.

if i can make some income with rhino then for me its worth investing more time in it which means i can spend more time creating “cadartz style” models and other fun stuff like upgrading my ancient pc

this is problably best for me

paypal is probably a good way for support donations i think

but first setup then record something and make content then hope for the best nothing ventured nothing gained :slightly_smiling_face:
