Efte facade revit

Hi everyone,

I’m working on creating an ETFE facade for a Revit project and could really use some guidance. My initial idea was to create a family for the ETFE cushions and aluminum frame, then generate the facade using a surface grid within a conceptual mass.

However, I’m encountering a challenge: I already have the facade modeled as a curtain wall within the project file, and I’m unsure how to recreate the conceptual mass in the exact shape of the existing facade.

I’ve attached a reference image of an ETFE project with a construction style similar to what I’m aiming for. Any advice, tips, or workflows for achieving this would be greatly appreciated!

In addition, Im unable to create a monolithic concrete stairs [instead of the metal staircase that is there now] in the area outside the building, if you can explain why ill be grateful!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Hi Sophi,

One way to quickly get the shape in this case would be to place a room and get its spatial geometry.

You’ll want to remove the columns from the room boundary calculation.

The error says you need to adjust the Risers or the Relative Top Height Parameter

thank you for your response!
can you elaborate on how to create the conceptual mass using the faces of the room?

Here is an example.
