Is there have easy way to move layer (changing colors)
Use the Properties Panel instead of the layer.
Select the object and in the Properties panel, you’ll see the layer they are assigned to. It’s a drop-down list. Just chose the layer name you want.
You’re going about this backwards. It’s not the Layer you want to change, it’s the layer Property of the Object you want to change.
