I am trying to simulate sun shadowing for a shadow analysis diagram in Rhino.
It looks like Rhino’s sun has a default shading setting which progressively adds orange light to the shadows as the sun gets closer falling off beyond the horizon.

Is there a way to turn this colored shading off so that the shadows are rendered only as black and white?

Hi Daniel -

No, there is no setting for that. You’ll have to use a directional light and put it in the correct location.
