Just in case - display order only applies to curves and hatches. It does not apply to surface objects.

OK, can you post an example for V6 where display order is not working as it should?

Yeah, I’m not sure draw order is enabled for those display modes…

Ok, that’s not logical. Of the 10 preview modes, only two modes does not works.
Even the mode Cycle work !

Maybe a dev McNeel will see this article and make things better …
