Display Mode Gamma setting not respected when printing Details on Layouts

Today I noted the following bug (I think it is a bug):

When printing directly from the Viewport to Rhino PDF this is the result I get (when I use my special Display Mode) :

When printing from the Layout to Rhino PDF the same area looks like this (using the same Display Mode in the Detail - same scale 1:50 as well):

It seems that the Layout Detail view does not respect the Gamma setting of the Display Mode when it is used in a Detail.

I think this is a bug. If not - can someone please explain where the output gamma of the Layout Detail can be changed ? Or how this can somehow be fixed (I can desaturate the PDF of course.)

While talking about the Gamma …

When several Display Modes are used simultaneously to display different parts of a model. How does the Gamma value work then ? Does the Gamma of one Display mode take precedence over the other Display mode? That’s what I think. But does it need to work that way ?

Thanks

hi @erik6 thanks for reporting. This is a Rhino WIP bug for sure.
RH-95022 Rendered view in layout is not gamma corrected

More things relating to this:

BUG No. 1:

Viewport with Layout looks like this.

Printed PDF looks like this:

Seems impossible to get the shadows to display.

BUG No. 2:

When pressing the button at the bottom:

Edit “EKJ_…” it does not open the Display Mode but stops at the command line:

This used to work before, now I must manually select the correct Display Mode to edit it.
