Display Bug after Rhino crashes

Whenever Rhino crashes and i recover the autosaved file, the display in the shaded and rendered views are changed to like this photo (shaded view) and i cannot get them to go back to the origial display, any ideas what this is?

Hi Julia - it’s very hard to tell what’s going on in that picture.
For starters, could you run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here?
Thanks,

A few things:

The current version is 6.25 - please update to that version.

You have 2 GPU’s in that machine. The Intel 630 is set to be the one that is drawing the viewports in Rhino. Your GeForce GTX 1650 is a lot more powerful and you should get this one to do the work.
If you have an external monitor, make sure that it’s plugged into the connector of the GTX card. You might also have to check settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel that you can open by right-clicking on your desktop.

Please try these things first and let us know if that helped.

What should i do now?

That is the difference between when the rhino is performing normally and when the display is changed (all the properties and materials of the file did not change)

(normal)
(Disturbed display)

That sounds like an external monitor is connected to the Intel GPU and not the NVIDIA GPU.

Im working from a Dell XPS laptop, so can you help me in trying to connect it to the NVIDIA GPU instead of the Intel one?

Are you using an external monitor?
-wim

nope, but thank youuu i solved the issue and had my laptop working with the NVIDIA GPU, thank you so much!
