Disappearing Annotations/Dims behind details

Morning. For some time now, my dims and annotations disappear behind any solid type of detail display. It does show up depending on where I’m zoomed to, which makes me think it’s a video driver issue, but I’m up to date with the latest Studio Driver for Nvidia.

If I BringToFront, they’re viewable.

Hello - if the scene is very large in extents (?) then in perspective views (?) the depth detection, which has a limited resolution, may be putting things into the same display bucket and effectively not sorting them right - that, at least, is what comes to mind as a possible cause.

Thanks. I’ll try a super basic scene later thie evening or tmrw to test.

But FYI no, its not a very large set I’m working with. 34’ Diamater octagon with a cple hallways arnd it

Hi @pascal I tested it - Dimensions look fine when running a simpler model. Should I try to run a “repair” or what else could help? (If so, how do I do that again? Find the installer and run it, etc.?)

For the moment I’ve tweaked a bunch of my custom buttons to BringToFront, but it doesn’t work for everything, obviously. I’m all ears for a solution.

Thx

Hi Alan - can you send the misbehaving model to tech@mcneel.com, or upload to www.rhino3d.com/upload, to my attention?please include a link back here in your comments.

-Pascal

doing now thanks.
