Direct geometry objects not cutting in section

I’m sending some objects to Revit as direct geometries in the structural framing category, but for some reason, they aren’t being cut in a Revit section view. Any idea why that is? I know some families or categories cannot be cut, but I didn’t think struc framing was one.

I’ll need more information to help. There are a lot of ways to control visibility in Revit.

Is this happening in a new file? Can you provide a small example? Thanks

It’s not a new file, and I don’t have any overrides on structural framing.

In the below image, the section should be cutting through the steel angle, but I’m seeing the entire angle instead w/ no section cut. Perhaps I need to try and recreate this is a new file.

Far Clip Offset?

It’s not that. It’s showing the part of the geometry that is behind the section cut, for instance, in my image, the bit with red x’s is behind the section cut. And when I make new section cuts, it behaves the same way. It’s like Revit is treating like an uncuttable object.

I simplified the geometry of the steel angles (which was a sweep1 originally) to just be straight extrusions, and now it doesn’t seem to have that issue.
