What a despicable thing to do I remember another incident like that:

How to project point outer curve

Hi Riccardo, Those colors (and many other changes!) happened as a result of opening a file that modified many default settings without any warning. Took some effort to restore defaults. Of all the changes, I liked the colored wires of selected components so kept them. You might be interested in the C# code, which I kept somewhere, but the settings are in grasshopper_gui.xml in the GH ‘Settings’ folder (\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper).
