I tried noise_on_mesh LD script but the pattern it creates on my shape is too aggressive and not sinuous enough

This uses Heteroptera plugin but I’m sure you could do something similar with Nautilus etc… It creates a surface in a vase shape and turns that into a mesh and applies the ripple noise pattern. I’m sure you could create a cylindrical mesh instead. Lots of parameters to play with! [image] NOISE_…
