Delete key will not work in deleting layers in Rhino 7.0

When I select a layer that I want to delete in the layers panel, the delete key will not work. I need to click on the Delete button at the top of the panel.
This is a small glitch but it does effect the workflow.
Will this be fixed?

Hi Dana -

Rhino 7 - cannot delete layer with Delete keyboard key

You can find several discussions about it here if you do a search… Some people complained that they accidentally deleted layers when they wanted to delete objects because they didn’t realize that the layer panel was still active (I’m not one of them). So they took that function out. I miss it too. Oh well…

It is a nuisance not having it.

From Rhino 7.6 on Windows, the default behavior will be that you can delete layers with the keyboard delete key again. To turn this behavior OFF, uncheck the advanced setting Rhino.Options.General.EnableLayersPanelDeleteKey.
