Can't Delete Layer with Del Key?

I noticed because I usually delete everything with a mouse Del macro. I can’t use it in layers.
It worked in Rhino 6. I think it also worked in Rhino 7…

Delete key will not work in deleting layers in Rhino 7.0

When I select a layer that I want to delete in the layers panel, the delete key will not work. I need to click on the Delete button at the top of the panel. This is a small glitch but it does effect the workflow. Will this be fixed? Dana

i would also like to delete layers the normal way. found a tracker which relates also it seems there was some discussion 78615

uhhh lala, i saw the option but somehow i did not pay too much credit somehow deep in my mind not believing that this would exist.
