If a plugin isn’t using the assigned WCS texture mapping, our rendering devs and the plugin devs will need to discuss why.

If the mapping is a primitive method perhaps it could work, like Planar or Box, but if it is a custom unwrap, the UV meshes will change if the object’s geometry is changed

I think Box mapping would be enough IMHO, it is what people use most of the time anyway if I am not mistaken.
