Customer wish 2: harmonize offset, fit,... commands to use it for all object types

Hi…,

this was a second wish: Combine commands like FitCrv/FitSrf, Offset/OffstSrf,… to use them for more object types like curves, (poly-)surfaces, per even meshes.

Hi Michael - we did some of this in the past - it was at best a ‘mixed’ success. The problems you run into are, for example, that you have to answer the ‘select one object’ question all the time, you get different options depending on the selection, which can be confusing to the workflow and for macros. So there are cases where it makes sense but not as many as you might expect at first glance.
