Custom Units - Poor accuracy

I am trying to use a custom unit (Shaku, a traditional Japanese measure) in my model.
However unfortunately I can only specify the unit to 2 decimals beyond the point how it relates to Meter- [Units per Meter:]
1 Shaku = 0.303 meter
and I can only enter 0.30

Is there a workaround or do I need to ask our dear beloved friends at McNeel to incorporate this feature in their next upgrade?
What I really want is the ability to enter 1shaku = 0.30303030303 in units per meter.

Any advice is welcome

Hello- I think there is more than one place on Rhino for Mac that have incorrectly limited inputs - we’ll fix it, thanks for the report.
RH-68438 Units - custom units precision truncated

In case it helps for now, here is a V6 file that you can use as a template that has the custom unit.

ShakuV6File.3dm (28.2 KB)

Thank you Pascal for taking my request seriously. Just one of the reasons why I like using Rhino. Looking forward to an update and a permanent fix and thank you for the file I will see if I can make that work for the time being.

@shokunin1 today I learnt something new- Shaku, a Japanese measurement, really interesting, as they say, ‘everyday is a school day’, thank you  :+1:
