Hey,
I am trying to create a specific pattern on a double curvature facade, which is kind of a deformed diagrid. My starting point is a subd coming from the subd massing of the building, but I couldn’t figure out how to create the curves in GH. I used Weaverbird to generate a grid division for the subd, and manually drew the curves in Rhino to show my intention:
The curves are defined by control points on the grid from Weaverbird, and cross first two squares, then three, then the last control point is in the same line (probably more clear in the image above…).
The second issue I had was continuing the pattern at the edges, in the central zones I used tween curves (I did it manually in the script but hopefully will change to a parametric definition once I manage to draw the initial curves in GH), but then I didn’t manage to complete the pattern on the edges. I was thinking offset on surface could work, but that doesn’t work with subd or mesh.
This is the final pattern I am trying to achieve:
Here is what I have so far, with the subd and the curves internalized:

Would appreciate any advice on how to proceed, Thanks!
