Curve object visibility in section drawings

Hello,

I am modelling a small building and want to take a section drawing with some vertical lines in the background for reference (they are the site gridlines). It seems like the “Section” command only operates on 3D objects in the model space. Fair enough because you can’t take a section of a 2D thing. Is there any way to get curves in the background to show up on the section drawing? I do have the background display option ticked already and the depth set to an appropriate value.

Hi William,

That is one of the features recently added to the Rhino 9 WIP, it doesn’t appear this will be ported back to Rhino 8 (too big of a change)
