Curve Closest Point results differently in RHINO7/RHINO8

Hi,

For the same point and curve and gh script, when I run in Rhino 7 it returns 0.771039 but when I run in Rhino 8 it returns 0.726597. Can anyone tell me why that is? What changed to the grasshopper in general? Thanks a lot!

After our testing, the results in Rhino7 and Rhino 8 are indeed different, but the results of 7 are correct in 7 and the results of 8 are correct in 8. It’s just that they’re not the same. So don’t mind
